Trevor Haumschilt-Rocha wins 2026 Sumi Jo International Singing Competition

Étude Arts celebrates Trevor Haumschilt-Rocha who won the 2026 Sumi Jo International Singing Competition. Celebrating the 40 year international career of soprano Sumi Jo and 140 years of Franco-Korean cultural friendship, the competition stands as both a prestigious artistic event and a symbol of intercultural dialogue through music.  The winner received €50,000 in prize money. More than 500 singers from 55 countries applied for this year’s competition. After preliminary rounds, 24 contestants advanced to the main competition, with 11 reaching the final. Bravo Trevor!
