John Tessier named a 2026 Opera Canada Ruby Award winner

Étude Arts celebrates star Canadian tenor John Tessier who is named a 2026 Opera Canada Ruby Award winner.  Named in honor of Opera Canada’s founding editor, Ruby Mercer, The Rubies recognize and honor outstanding achievement and leadership in Canadian opera – both on stage and behind the scenes.  The Rubies are awarded in honor of lifetime achievement in the art form, and they represent the highest honor in Canadian opera.
