Étude Arts welcomes William Socolof
Étude Arts proudly announces that bass-baritone William Socolof joins our roster for general management in association with Young Concert Artists who continue to handle his concert bookings.
Noted for his exceptional communication and dramatic skill across a broad range of repertoire, William graduated from The Juilliard School in spring 2022 and was a member of the prestigious Merola Opera Program at San Francisco Opera during summer 2022.
He has appeared in performance with James Gaffigan and the National Symphony Orchestra, Andris Nelsons and the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Richard Egarr and Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra and during three summers at the storied Marlboro Music Festival, he performed extensively works of Bach, Brahms, Mahler, and Schubert with pianists Jonathan Biss, Malcolm Martineau, and Mitsuko Uchida.
William’s instrument and artistry have been nurtured under the tutelage of William Burden, Sanford Sylvan, Dawn Upshaw, and Stephanie Blythe.
