Étude Arts welcomes Jordan de Souza

Étude Arts is excited to welcome back Canadian conductor Jordan de Souza for general management.

Jordan de Souza received his appointment as General Music Director of Theater Dortmund and Chief Conductor of Dortmund Philharmoniker with a five-year contract commencing in August 2025.

A varied and dynamic schedule with many of the world’s great opera houses, symphony orchestras, and festivals reflect Jordan de Souza’s standing as one of the most sought-after conductors of his generation.  The artist’s energy, passion, charisma, and creativity are impactful to musicians and audiences alike and he is a thoughtful educator of new audiences opening doors welcomingly to the world of Classical Music.
