ADL Honors Opera Singer Soloman Howard for Raising Awareness of Threats to Voting Rights; New Mexico Advocates Recognized

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL), a civil rights agency dedicated for more than 100 years to fighting bigotry, defending democratic ideals and protecting civil rights for all, will honor opera singer Soloman Howard with ADL’s “Making a Difference Award” in Santa Fe on August 4, for raising awareness of threats to voting rights through his performance in the opera Appomattox at the Kennedy Center last year. Howard is debuting at the Santa Fe Opera this summer as the Commendatore in Don Giovanni and the Duke of Verona in Roméo et Juliette.
